Turn kitchen scraps into “black gold”! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to set up and care for a worm bin, keep worms healthy, and harvest nutrient-rich castings to boost soil health. Participants will gain practical tips, troubleshooting skills, and the confidence to start their own sustainable composting system. Each participant will leave with a turn key worm compost bin!

In this course, you will learn about the living world below your feet that is often overlooked in today's world. We will explore what living soil is and how you can become a steward of it at home. By the end, you’ll gain practical tools and insights to help your garden thrive naturally.” Each participant will take home a bag of supercharged compost/amendment to use at home!

In this course, you will learn about the vast world of pollinators and other beneficial insects that keep our ecosystems in balance. A hands-on workshop will proceed after the lecture, where you can make your own native pollinator hive to attract beneficial solitary bees at home!
